About the Artwork
Through exploring a balance between literal and abstract expressions; “United Together” illustrates the importance of relationship and growth. Each small section of the artwork is a distinct shape, however when the viewer steps back - all the parts web together. The form evolves from individual intricate drawings into representing the iris of the human eye. The artwork speaks to the relationship between multiple elements - aspects of ourselves and our lives - how they ground, support and grow from each other.
